Mikey Hicks is a eight year old boy who is always harrased by airline secrurity, just because he shares the same name as a terrorist. Patted down or frisked like a crimanal, this kid is only one of many innocents who suffer with haveing the same name as someone on the T.S.A. watch list.

For some strange reason, instead of checking what the suspect on the list looks like, the people in the airport decided not to question it and to do just put this little boy through hell. What good can come from that? Some people who face this problem misspell their names when they buy tickets or even go as far as to change them. If my name was the list, I'd demend to see the picture; that they call up the goverenment and get a whole chart of the real person and see them try to match the person to me. I refuse to be taken into that little room.

It's one thing to think a kid is a terrorist (in this day and age anything is possible) but it's stupid to not make sure you got the right person.

Now there's a new system where the airlinesmust get every passenger’s birth date and gender, along with their names. The T.S.A. will cross-check all that with the watch lists.

Now.... they think of this.

Lesson to be learned. Always double check. Screw the system and check to see you have the right person before doing anything... or else you may end up looking like an idiot.

Taylor Pugh... your hair is more important than your education.

Four year old Taylor Pugh here, has been suspended from school for haveing his hair too long. According to the district dress code, boys' hair must be kept out of the eyes and cannot extend below the bottom of earlobes or over the collar of a dress shirt. Hairstyles "designed to attract attention to the individual or to disrupt the orderly conduct of the classroom or campus (are) not permitted," the policy states.

Rules are rules but they are not facts. They can be changed. This rule is a good example for it doesn't make sense. All hair is designed to attract. What about the girls in the school? They have long hair and probaley a pretty bow or two. Unless they banned shurchies too. I wonder what would happen if a girl had her hair too short. Will she be banned until it grows back?

The rule hasn't even been broken. Taylor's hair has not disrupt the class. Nothing happened. Instead it is the school who has disturbed the class by removing one student away from his friends. Even if he was to cut his hair, he will never be the same. He won't learn as well as before because he was just forced to do something he really didn't like without a good logical reason. If he gets his hair cut, it would be a negative effect.

The school thinks rules should be followed in order for these kids to become succesful grownups. When in truth... there is no way to make a perfect citizen. We are talking about a 4 year old's hair. All this teaches the kid that he can't be different with is an oxymoron because everybody is different. This school is brainwashing the kids to learn that the world that exists now cannot be changed and that you must obey the ones who took control of it before you.

They are suppose to be teaching that you are the future and that you're suppose to change the way things are now. To make the world a better place. Hair is hair... leave the poor boy alone. The rule has no logic and the kid didn't do anything negative. Thus the school is stupid and so the parents should just take Taylor to a different school.
